How to Play

Playing Bingo is easy and fun, making it a great game for gatherings of all sizes. Here’s a simple breakdown of how to play:

  1. Setup: Each player gets a Bingo card, which is a grid usually marked with five rows and five columns. Each space on the card contains the pictogram for an Olympic sport. The center space is marked as "Free" and doesn’t require a pictogram match.
  2. Draw Sports: One person, often called the "caller," randomly draws and announces pictograms from those listed on the cards. All cards have the same sports, in different locations. Each pictogram corresponds to a specific space on the Bingo card.
  3. Mark Your Card: Players listen to the announced numbers and mark them on their Bingo card if they appear.
  4. Complete a Pattern: The goal is to complete a specific pattern on your card before anyone else. I recommend a line of 5 in a row straight or diagonally
  5. Call Bingo: Once you complete the required pattern, shout "Bingo!" The caller will then check your card to verify. If everything matches up, you must answer a trivia question for the last sport marked to win the round! If the trivia answer is incorrect, play continues until another player gets "Bingo" and then that player has a chance at correctly answering a trivia question for the last sport they marked to win.
